JARRE UK has recently received information regarding the Seating Structure and Ticket Prices of Jean Michel Jarre’s Concerts in Athens on June 19th & 20th 2001.

The Lower Tier of the Venue is where the Main Tickets are, starting at 50,000 Drachmas (as previously reported), 60,000 Drachmas, 80,000 Drachmas and 100,000 Drachmas.

The Upper Tier of the Venue is where the Cheap Tickets are, and although the Final Prices have not been set at the moment, the Tickets will range between 10,000 & 20,000 Drachmas according to The Odeion of Herodes Atticus Box Office in Athens.

The Odeion of Herodes Atticus Box Office in Athens have confirmed that there is no change in the planned release of Tickets, Tickets will not be available until 1 Month before the Concerts (around Mid-May).

Jean Michel Jarre’s planned historic collaboration with Greek Electronic Musician ‘VANGELIS’ at the Greece Concerts in Athens on June 19th & 20th 2001, is not going ahead according to sources close to Jean Michel Jarre.

Jean Michel Jarre and ‘VANGELIS’ have yet to confirm or deny this officially, but since ‘VANGELIS’ has yet to announce anything regarding the collaboration, at this moment in time it is looking highly unlikely that this historic collaboration will take place.

Patrick Rondat is back with Jean Michel Jarre to perform with him at the Greece Concerts in Athens on June 19th & 20th 2001.

The French Instrumental Hard-Rock Guitarist performed with Jean Michel Jarre during the ‘EUROPE IN CONCERT’ Tour in 1993, ‘HONG KONG’ in 1994, and ‘CONCERT FOR TOLERANCE’ at the Eiffel Tower in Paris in 1995.

Patrick Rondat also contributed to Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘CHRONOLOGIE’ Album in 1993, and Jean Michel Jarre produced Patrick Rondat’s Album ‘AMPHIBIA’ in 1996, which features Patrick Rondat’s Electric Guitar Version of Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘EQUINOXE 4′.

Jean Michel Jarre’s Classic ‘OXYGENE 2′ is the Music Score behind French Car Manufacturer Citroen’s TV Advert for their NEW Citroen C5.

First shown in France about a month ago, the TV Advert has only just surfaced on UK TV in the past few days, and apparently is also being screened in other European Countries.

JARRE UK has contacted Citroen UK regarding the possibility of hosting a Real Video Clip of the UK TV Advert, but Citroen UK has declined permission due to copyright restrictions.

Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre’s Concerts in Greece will not be available until about 1 Month before the Concerts (around mid-May) and could be as much as 50,000 Drachmas (about £95) according to The Odeion of Herodes Atticus Box Office in Athens.

Although Jean Michel Jarre has neither confirmed or denied this, JARRE UK has contacted The Odeion of Herodes Atticus Box Office in Athens, and this was the information that was supplied over the Phone.

As many of the details surrounding Jean Michel Jarre’s Concerts are not yet finalised, this information could and probably will change, certainly JARRE UK is hoping that the Price of the Tickets is not as high as what they estimate…WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
