Yesterday, Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park in Aalborg, Denmark on September 7th 2002, went on sale as planned from E-Billetter (www.e-billetter.dk).

However, the demand was so high, that within the first half an hour of the Tickets being on sale, the E-Billetter Web-Site ground to a halt, and soon after the Phone Lines to E-Billetter jammed with frustrated Fans frantically trying to get Tickets. JARRE UK spent over 3 1/2 Hours trying to get Tickets before finally being successful, although the E-Billetter Web-Site still appeared to be having problems, with both the Buffet and V.I.P Tickets being incorrectly displayed as being Sold Out, and the Final Transaction Completion Page not E-Mailing confirmation of the Ticket Order.

If you are unsure whether your Ticket Order has been successful or not, then simply E-Mail your Order Number and Transaction Number to E-Billetter Customer Services (kundeservice@e-billetter.dk), who will send you an E-Mail either confirming or denying your Ticket Order. Today, E-Billetter has also confirmed that over 15,000 Tickets have already been sold.

An Official Web-Site for Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert has been setup by Danish Television Station TV2 (http://aero.tv2.dk). The Web-Site contains information about Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert, and Photographs from the recently published Official Photobook of Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AKROPOLIS’ Concerts in Athens, Greece in June 2001.

The Danish Television Station TV2 (www.tv2.dk) has confirmed that there will be a LIVE Web-Cast of the ‘AERÓ’ Concert on September 7th 2002. Highlights of the ‘AERÓ’ Concert are scheduled to be broadcast on TV2 on September 14th 2002, and the Full Concert is scheduled to be broadcast on TV2 Zulu (www.zulu.dk) on September 16th 2002. TV2 have also stated that they will be internationally distributing both ‘AERÓ’ Broadcasts.

Jean Michel Jarre’s Official Web-Site (www.jarre.net) has announced that Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park in Aalborg, Denmark on September 7th 2002, will go on sale in Denmark tomorrow at 10:00 (10am) (Local Time).

There will be 3 Types of Tickets available for Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert, with a maximum number of 35,000 Tickets available, 15,000 less than the original 50,000 planned. These are as follows:-

Standard Ticket: 200 Danish Kroner (approximately £17/27 Euros).
Buffet Ticket: 750 Danish Kroner (approximately £65/101 Euros), includes Buffet Meal (excluding Drinks) before the Concert.
V.I.P Ticket: 1895 Danish Kroner (approximately £163/255 Euros), includes access to a Covered Seated V.I.P Stand, Luxury Buffet (including Drinks), and access to a V.I.P Tent before and during the Concert.

All Tickets will be available from E-Billetter (www.e-billetter.dk), who despite accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and EUROCARD Credit Cards, can only sell Tickets to European Union Countries, and other Scandinavian Countries such as Greenland, Iceland & The Faeroe Islands. Jean Michel Jarre’s Official Web-Site (www.jarre.net) has announced that Jean Michel Jarre has Officially Confirmed that his ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park in Aalborg, Denmark on September 7th 2002, is now definetly going ahead as planned.

Jean Michel Jarre’s Management, ‘MUSKELSVINDFONDEN’ and Aalborg Tourist & Convention Bureau have all confirmed this announcement, with Jean Michel Jarre apparently only awaiting 3 Signatures from Sponsors, before he, himself, signs the Final Contract later in the week.

The Aalborg Tourist & Convention Bureau (www.visitaalborg.com) has today informed JARRE UK that Tickets could be on sale as early as the weekend, although no further information is currently available. They have confirmed, however, that Special Buses are to be made available for travel between Aalborg and the ‘AERÓ’ Concert Site on September 7th 2002. Further details are expected to be announced at the ‘AERÓ’ Concert Press Conference, provisionally scheduled for July 22nd 2002.
