It has been confirmed today that a NEW album, released on the Disques Dreyfus label (under distribution of Sony) is to have an IMMINENT release.

The title of the album is ‘SESSIONS 2000′ and was composed during November and December 2001 by Jean Michel and Francis Rimbert, with the album containing 7 tracks in a Jazz/Electronic style.

SESSIONS 2000 is intended to have a pre-Christmas release in Europe and a January release in the USA, but no exact release date has been confirmed as of yet. The catalogue number for the CD is FDM 526712.

A 1-Hour Edit of Highlights from Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park near Aalborg, Denmark, on September 7th 2002, is to be broadcast tonight on Danish TV Channel TV2 from 22:35 (10:35pm) to 23:40 (11:40pm) (Local Time).

Danish TV Channel TV2 Zulu will also broadcast the Full 2-Hour Concert on September 16th 2002 from 21:40 (9:40pm) to 23:45 (11:45pm) and September 17th 2002 from 15:15 (3:15pm) to 17:30 (5:30pm) (Local Time).

Jean Michel Jarre performed his ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park near Aalborg, Denmark, on September 7th 2002, to an audience of 40,000 People, in terrible weather conditions.

Despite Weather Forecasts predicting 4mm of Rain, 22mm of Rain fell onto the Concert Site, turning it into a 66,000 Square Metres Swamp. However, the Bad Weather did not deter either Jean Michel Jarre or the 25 Nation Audience from enjoying a memorable and unique Concert.

Jean Michel Jarre performed 17 Tracks, many of which were remixed for the Concert, including 2 NEW Unreleased Tracks. Disappointingly Jean Michel Jarre did not play the Laser Harp at the Concert, but he did play the Theremin, and an Electronic Flute. The Tracklisting was as follows:-

JARRE UK will be attending Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘AERÓ’ Concert at the Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park near Aalborg, Denmark, on September 7th 2002, therefore this will be the last update to JARRE UK until the JARRE UK Team arrive back in England on September 10th 2002.

JARRE UK has been granted Press Access to the Concert, and will be taking Photographs of the Stage Preparations and throughout the Concert itself. JARRE UK will also be attending the ‘AERÓ’ Fan-Meeting at the Casa Vesteraa in Aalborg from 15:00 (3pm) on September 6th 2002.
