The French Space Agency, Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) contacted JARRE UK today, to inform Fans that they have just published an interview with Jean Michel Jarre in their latest edition of their quarterly magazine, CNES Mag - Issue #41 (April 2009).

The two page interview, in both French and English, focuses on Jean Michel Jarre’s role as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for the International Year of Astronomy 2009, and how astronomy has influenced him and his music.  There is also a mention of the proposed Concert for IYA 09 in La Palma, Tenerife, Canary Islands, which according to Jean Michel Jarre’s Management, is looking unlikely to take place this year.

The full interview, which has been kindly licensed to JARRE UK by Luc Moliner from (CNES), both as an English language article, and French and English magazine scans, is now exclusively available from our Features section…Click Here For More.

JARRE UK Would Like To Thank Luc Moliner (CNES) For This Information.

A WELCOME MESSAGE FROM DUNKIE

Tuesday May 19th, 2009 in News |

Welcome to the NEW JARRE UK Web-Site. It’s been many months in planning, designing and building, and although we are not quite finished with everything, we have decided to launch this week ahead of Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘IN-DOORS’ World Tour UK Concerts later this week.

We are still importing content from the original JARRE UK Web-Site, and as such this will still be available at www.questbbs.fsnet.co.uk until such time as this task is completed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Claus and Robin for their invaluable assistance and hard work in getting this NEW Web-Site up-and-running, and would also like to welcome Chris Wray as our newest member of the JARRE UK Team.

We would welcome any feedback you have on the NEW Web-Site and look forward to meeting many of you at Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘IN-DOORS’ World Tour UK Concerts at the weekend.

All the best,

Dunkie
Web-Master of JARRE UK
