LATEST DENMARK CONCERT INFORMATION
As previously reported, Jean Michel Jarre is currently in the prelimanary planning stages to hold a concert in Denmark next year on FRIDAY 30TH AUGUST 2002 at the ”Gammel Vrå Enge’ Windmill Park near Aalborg.
“The wind will have the lead role, not only as an energy form, but also as a carrier of sounds, images, messages and dreams. The wind carries birds, pollen - but also smoke and pollution, the wind brings us into contact with both the worse and best - the choice is ours” stated Jean Michel Jarre in a Press Conference held yesterday.
Presently at the moment, Jean Michel Jarre’s concert organisers, Cream Creative Management, are trying to find financial backing both in Denmark and abroad, with an estimated 3 Million Euro Budget for the concert. Currently though, NEG Micon (Danish manufacturers of the Windmills used in Gammel Vrå Enge Windmill Park) are one of the backers for the concert, and concert organisers Muskelsvindfonden have promised professional assistance for the project.
Danish articles can be found at Berlingske Tidende, and Jyllands-Posten.
Please bare in mind though, that as stated earlier, this concert is only in the planning stages at the moment, and nothing is 100% definate. SO DO NOT GO MAKING TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS JUST YET until the concert is given the full go-ahead (and please don’t ask us at the moment where or when you will be able to get tickets, as nothing is known as of yet).
