‘OXYGEN IN MOSCOW’ RELEASED ON DVD

Jean Michel Jarre’s first ever DVD Release ‘OXYGENE MOSCOW’ was launched today, accompanied by an NTSC Video Release, in the US, by Image Entertainment (http://www.image-entertainment.com/).

The 113 Minute DVD features ‘OXYGEN IN MOSCOW’, a 60 Minute Edit of the Record-Breaking Concert, and ‘MAKING THE STEAMROLLER FLY’, a 53 Minute Jean Michel Jarre Documentary, both of which were previously released on the ‘OXYGENE IN MOSCOW’ VHS Video in 1998.

Available only in the US, the DVD is Region 0 (Region Free), despite http://www.amazon.com/ stating that the DVD is Region 1, which means that ALL DVD Players are able to play it. The DVD is retailing at $29.99, although http://www.amazon.com/ are retailing it at $25.49, a saving of 15% Off the recommended retail price.

Noteworthy points are that the DVD is incorrectly titled as ‘OXYGENE MOSCOW’ instead of ‘OXYGEN IN MOSCOW’, and the Cover Picture is taken from the ‘OXYGENE WORLD TOUR’ and NOT the ‘OXYGEN IN MOSCOW’ Concert.
